Adi Karni is an Israeli bridal designer and the founder of Adi Karni Bridal, a bridal studio based in Florentin, Tel Aviv.

Adi has been surrounded by design and craftsmanship from an early age. Her grandmother was a seamstress and her grandfather tailored suits for the British, giving her an early appreciation for construction, detail and the patience behind making clothes well. She later studied at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, where she developed the design language that would continue through her work in fashion.

Before focusing on bridal, Adi worked across fashion and red carpet design. Her move into bridal brought that experience into a more personal setting, combining strong silhouettes, unusual details and a modern approach to femininity.

Adi Karni Bridal creates original wedding dress collections alongside custom and semi-custom designs. The studio works primarily on a rental model, with brides able to choose from existing designs or adapt a look together with Adi to create something more personal.

Each dress is developed in the Tel Aviv studio, with an emphasis on fit, movement, construction and detail. The process is hands-on and personal, with fittings taking place throughout the creation and adjustment of each look.

The brand’s collections, including Genesis and Re-Start, reflect Adi’s approach to bridal: contemporary, confident and feminine, without relying on traditional bridal conventions.

For Adi, a wedding dress should never feel like a costume. It should still feel like the woman wearing it.
